NTV-KINO is a movie company primarily engaged in production of TV serials, feature and documentary, as well as of animated and full-length feature films.

NTV-KINO was founded in 1997.

NTV-KINO is a leader of the national film industry producing a number of new films every year. Its most successful projects include “Kamenskaya-1,” “Dalnoboyschiki-1”(Truckers), “Dalnoboyschiki-2,” “Drongo,” “Pyaty Angel” (The Fifth Angel), “Igra na Vybyvaniye” (Play-off), “Slepoy” (The Blind), and “Stervy ili Strannosti Lyubvi” (Bitches or Odd Things About Love) among others.

In 2005, “Posledny Boy Mayora Pugacheva” (The Last Fight of Major Pugachev) was nominated for the national TEFI award (Russia’s equivalent for the Emmys) among the best feature mini-serials.
Late in 2006 the “Russky Perevod” (Russian Translation) serial was finished. It was the first Russian TV film with its own web site www.rus-perevod.com.
