Well Go USA has acquired North American rights to the Russian epic blockbuster Furious.
Furious is produced by the film company Central Partnership and Film Studio KIT, which is a part of Gazprom Media. Furious will be theatrically released in Russia in the second part of 2017 and has also been sold already to a number of territories such as German-Speaking countries (Splendid), French-Speaking countries (Acteurs auteurs associés), Spain (Mediaset) and Mongolia (Digital contents).
Pavel Stepanov, Central Partnership, CEO: We are happy that our own produced feature film was of interest to the US buyers. Having our content present in North America is of imperative importance for its successful distribution all around the globe.
Dzhanik Fayziev, Film Studio KIT, CEO: “600 years ago the trees were taller, the snow was softer and the sun was shining brighter. We decided to poetically recreate the historical events of the 13th century, the dark times when Mongol hordes were invading Russia. The film tells us the message that major sacrifices and deeds are made for the sake of those we love”.
Rafael Minasbekyan, Group of Companies KIT Film and Television, CEO: “we expect this film to be as big abroad as it is in Russia”.
