​Beta Film acquires international rights to Premier Studios' Pereval Dyatlova series

The rights to the international distribution of the Russian series Pereval Dyatlova (Dead Mountain - The Dyatlov Pass Incident), which was produced by Premier Studios, were sold to Beta Film, a large international company that is one of the world leaders on the licensing market. The sales agreement was announced at the European Film Market of the Berlinale International Film Festival in Berlin, Germany.

General manager of TV-3 channel Valery Fyodorovich and the channel’s chief producer Evgeny Nikishov served as the producers and directors of the series. They have won the prestigious TEFI award as the best producers of a television season. The project is produced by Premier Studios based on a screenplay by Ilya Kulikov, who is known for his work on the TV series Zakon Kamennyh Djunglei (Rules of the Stone Jungle), Chernobyl. Zona Otchuzhdeniya (Chernobyl. The Exclusion Zone), Uchitelya (Teachers), Mylodrama (Soap Opera) and Politseysky s Rublyovki (The Policeman from Rublyovka).

Pereval Dyatlova consists of eight episodes and tells the tragic story of nine tourists who perished in the Urals on the night of February 1-2, 1959 under mysterious circumstances.

The series is available in Beta Film’s catalogue under the name Dead Mountain - The Dyatlov Pass Incident.
