“Sverdlovsk region is rightfully considered one of the most sporty regions in the country. We give a lot of attention both to the development of high-performance sports as well as the promotion of healthy lifestyles. A new mega sporting event awaits us - the 2023 Universiade, which must become a triumph of student sport, healthy lifestyles and youth in the Ural lands. Thus, it is extremely important for us to get such a reliable and high-profile media partner as Gazprom-Media Holding. Moreover, we all understand how important success stories are to encourage any well-intentioned beginnings and Match! in particular gives our boys and girls, adult viewers the chance to get closer to sports stars and to catch their ‘sporting bug’,” said the governor of Sverdlovsk region Evgeny Kuyvashev.
“For Gazprom-Media, the agreement with the government of Sverdlovsk region is an important step in carrying out the national strategy for the development of physical education and sport in the country by 2030. This is the next stage in the cooperation with the regions, and we will continue to expand the geography of our partnerships. Our sports channels have enormous potential. Match! produces 90% of all sports broadcasts in Russia. The best creative and production teams work with us, while the technical capacity of Match is one of the most modern in the world.
