The awards ceremony for the national prize Radiomania 2019 took place in Moscow on October 9. The projects of Autoradio, Detskoe Radio, Humor FM and Radio Energy received seven awards, including for best radio show and promotion in the digital sphere.
Autoradio’s flagship evening program Murzilki Live won in the “Radio show” nomination. Hosts of the drive shows Poekhali (Let’s Go) on Avtoradio, Sergey Demidov and Victor Abramyan, were recognized by the jury in the “Radio host/interviewer” nomination for their interview with well-known broadcast journalist Vladimir Pozner. Avtoradio also received a golden microphone statuette in the nomination “Promotion, off-air project” for Bolshoy Football (Big Football). The radio station was the official radio broadcaster of the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
Radio Energy claimed Radiomania’s golden microphone in the nomination “Promotion in the digital sphere” for its online flashmob featuring the band Little Big #SKIBIDICHALLENGE.
The jury named “A Chto, Esli?” (What If?) the best music program on the radio. The program airs on Humor FM with Kirill Nechaev as the host. The prize in the nomination “Cognitive program/segment” went to Detskoe Radio’s feature Skazki Narodov Mira (Fairytales from Around the World).
A project by Humor FM-St. Petersburg was one of the winners among regional radio stations. Its program cycle Vozmozhno, Vsuydu Kharms! (Kharms Could be Everywhere!) won in the “Entertainment program/segment” nomination.
