Gazprom-Media is announcing a new appointment in the Gazprom-Media Entertainment TV group. Vyacheslav Dusmukhametov has been named the new chief producer of the TNT television channel.

In this new role, he will be responsible for the creative aspects of the channel, the production of content and the development of new formats.

Vyacheslav Dusmukhametov has worked on television for more than 15 years, and is the author and producer of more than 25 popular television shows and series. Since 2008 he has been the producer at the companies 7ART and Comedy Club Production, where several successful and highly-rated projects for TNT were created under his guidance along with that of Semyon Slepakov and Arthur Dzhanibekyan. Among them are the TV series Univer, Interns (TEFI 2016 award for best sitcom on Russian TV), the shows Comedy Woman, Comedy Battle, Stand Up, Tanzy (Dances), Odnazhdy v Rossii (Once Upon a Time in Russia), Improvizatsiya (Improvisation), Gde Logika? (Where is the Logic?), among others. In 2015 and 2016 Vyacheslav Dusmukhametov was nominated for the TEFI award as the best television producer of the season.

Alexander Doulerain, who has served as the chief producer of TNT since 2009, will take the lead in the international development of the channel, and will remain a member of the TNT board, as well as continue his work in the program committee, which determines the content strategy of the channel.

“Vyacheslav has been working with TNT television channel for a long time and is creating flagship projects that have set the identity of the channel. He has talent and a professional nose for the kinds of genres and stories that will be relevant to audiences. The projects that Vyachelav creates gain popularity across the nation and gather millions of viewers in front of television screens, while his series formats receive recognition on the global market. I am confident that under the creative guidance of Vyacheslav Dusmukhametov TNT will continue to create the best comedy and entertainment content on Russian television,” said Arthur Dzhanibekyan, general manager of Gazprom-Media Entertainment TV and TNT television channel.

“In the years of our close work with TNT, we have become a team of like-minded people. Our task is to create and surprise the viewer, and to do it on a daily basis. We have a lot of big premieres ahead of us,” said Vyacheslav Dusmukhametov, chief producer of TNT.

“In 2002 TNT was a small channel with an audience share of about 2-3%. Today it is the main entertainment channel in the country. The reason for the growth throughout all these years, aside from luck, was that we placed our bets on talent. We are working with the best authors, actors, and directors in our genres. TNT was and remains a channel for young Russians. But the potential that exists in the TNT library, as well as the team, could serve as the basis for the development on an international scale. And so, everything is just getting started and the best is still ahead,” said Alexander Doulerain.
