The five highest-grossing Russian films in history are films distributed by Central Partnership. The list included Cheburashka, two parts of Holop, Dvizhenie Vverh and Bremenskiye muzykanty.

The family comedy Cheburashka topped the rating with takings of 6.78 billion rubles. The movie was seen by 22.4 million viewers.

In second place was Holop, which was released earlier this year. It has already taken 3.42 billion rubles. 8.6 million tickets were sold for the film.

The story of the re-education of a major in the film Holop was, at that time, the highest-grossing domestic comedy, gathering an audience of more than 11.6 million viewers in theaters, and taking more than 3 billion rubles.

The movie Dvizhenie Vverh is based on real events and portrays the legendary triumph of the USSR basketball team at the Munich Olympics in 1972. The film gained 2.95 billion rubles in box office receipts with 11.9 million viewers.

Rounding off the top five is the musical feature film Bremenskiye muzykanty, which was based on a cartoon of the same name. Box office receipts have already exceeded 2.59 billion rubles. The film was watched by 7 million viewers.

The receipts of the top five totaled 18.85 billion rubles. The films sold over 60 million tickets.
