The 20th
Blockbuster Awards ceremony took place in Moscow on February 6 and Central
Partnership was recognized as the “Best distributor of Russian film.” The box
office revenues of domestic films, released by Central Partnership in 2016,
exceeded 2.18 billion rubles ($37 million).
Central
Partnership also won a prize in the nomination “Highest earning Russian film of
the year” for its release of the film Ekipazh (Flight Crew), whose box
office amounted to 1.5 billion rubles ($25.6 million). Moreover, the company
was among the winners in the category “Films that grossed more than 1.5 billion
rubles in Russia and the CIS countries.”

grateful to the editorial staff of the magazine Kinobusiness Segodnya
(Film Business Today), the founder of the Blockbuster prize. We are pleased to
be recognized by colleagues and industry professionals. From our side, we can
state that Central Partnership will maintain its leadership position as a
distributor of domestic film in 2017 since this year we already released Viking,
which became the second highest-earning film at the domestic box office, and
still ahead there are such powerful Russian projects to be released as Kukhnya.

(The Legend of Kolovrat), and of course, Dvizheniye Vverh (The Way Up)
