Gazprom-Media Holding is the main media partner of the Spirit of Fire International Film Festival

Gazprom Media Holding will act as the main media partner of the XXIII Spirit of Fire International Debut Film Festival, which will be held from March 5 to 9 in Khanty-Mansiysk. The business program of the festival includes matters of joint film production and content promotion, bilateral film screenings, creation of professional personnel exchange programs, features of national film distribution, and measures to preserve cultural heritage and national identity.

Representatives of the Holding’s companies will participate in the festival’s business program. On March 7, CEO of Central Partnership Vadim Vereshchagin and creative producer of 1-2-3 Production Andrey Smiyan will speak at the «Cinema and Earth Depths. Searching for a Hero of the New Era» session. Among other things, it will be dedicated to how directors, producers, business, and the state see the hero of labor.
Albina Mukhametzyanova, CEO of YARKO animation company, will speak at the session «Film Dialogue between Russia and China» on March 8. Experts will discuss the prospects of Russian companies in Asian film markets, interaction of film funds to support joint projects, advantages of co-production between Russia and China in the field of cinema, and much more.
On March 9, at the “Debut Cinema. Opportunities and Challenges for Young Filmmakers” session, creative producers of 1-2-3 Production and GPM KIT Ivan Baranov and Serafim Orekhanov will share their experience on how to find one’s path in the world of cinema.
Spirit of Fire is a leading debut film festival and one of the main platforms for young directors. It has been held since 2003, and since 2023 its president has been film director Emir Kusturica. This year, the international competition includes seven films representing Malaysia, China, the USA, the Republic of Korea, Japan, Thailand, Canada, Kazakhstan, Colombia, Iran, India, Singapore, the United Kingdom, and Russia. The Russian competition presents six domestic film debuts.
The organizer of the forum’s business program is the Roscongress Foundation.
