CSTB.PRO.MEDIA International Exhibition and Forum of Television and Telecommunications has finished its work in Moscow. The main industry event was held from June 20 to 21 and for the 24th time became a launching pad for setting up new projects and finding innovative ways to develop the telecom and media industry using progressive formats and modern solutions. The business program of the event was attended by representatives of Match TV, PREMIER, Red Media and TV-3 as part of Gazprom-Media Holding.
The 2022 business program was dedicated to key issues of the media industry: the role of media in the ecosystem business model, new film and video content formats, pay TV development issues, changes in the sports content ecosystem as well as OTT platforms and video services.
On June 20, within the framework of CSTB.PRO.MEDIA 2022, the Bolshaya Tsifra award ceremony was held. It is the first Russian National Award in the field of multi-channel digital television, and was held for the 13th time in 2022.
Companies within Gazprom-Media Holding PREMIER and Red Media received awards in 3 nominations.
Red Media:
• Travel series Adventure on the Horizon. North was the winner of an audience vote in the “Entertainment show” category.
• The program Big Fish of the own production of the TV channel A-minor. My Musical was recognized as the best in the “Music TV Program” category.
Online cinema PREMIER:
• The Out of Myself series was recognized as best thriller in the “Original series of own production” category.
In addition, on June 21, as part of the CSTB.PRO.MEDIA 2022 Forum, the Original+ streaming platform content festival was held for the first time. It was organized by MIDEXPO and Rossiyskaya Gazeta. Susanna Alperina, editor of the Rossiyskaya Gazeta’s humanitarian section, was the festival program director.
The winner of the festival in the “The most anticipated project” nomination was the series Lusia from PREMIER. The comedy about the relationship between artificial intelligence and humans was already a finalist at the festival in Tokyo.
