Gazprom-Media Holding strengthens media and technology cooperation with China

A delegation from Gazprom-Media Holding’s management and digital assets, headed by the holding’s CEO Aleksandr Zharov, paid a working visit to China aimed at strengthening cooperation in the sphere of media and technology. The delegation included representatives of the RUTUBE national video hosting service, Yappy vertical video application and PREMIER online cinema. The main purpose of the trip was to expand international ties and exchange experience technological between Russia and China.

During his recent state visit to China, Russia’s President Vladimir Putin emphasized that relations between our countries are exemplary. We are continuing to develop them. Over the past week, we have held meetings with key representatives of China’s creative economy. We thank our Chinese partners for their responsiveness and obviously productive dialog.

During the visit, representatives of Gazprom-Media Holding and its digital assets signed a number agreements with leading Chinese technology parks. The documents cover a wide range of areas, including digital technology development, content creation, and the introduction of new media projects.

Gazprom-Media Holding is therefore continuing to actively develop international relations and strengthen its position in the media and digital platforms market.
