Participants and guests of the event will have the opportunity to acquaint themselves with local brands from 36 regions of Russia: Moscow, St. Petersburg, Krasnodar Territory, Tatarstan, Kalmykia, Chuvashia, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, Tyumen, Nizhny Novgorod, Kemerovo, Novosibirsk, and Samara Regions. 83 fashion shows will be held over six days. From October 5 to 9, an open market will operate at Manege, where visitors can purchase clothing, shoes, and accessories from Russian designers. Visitors are welcome from 13:00 to 21:00.
Entry is by pre-registration on the event website. In the business showroom, fashion market players will present their products to wholesale buyers and hold negotiations with potential partners. Applications for participation in the World Fashion Shorts short film festival have been submitted, in particular, by directors from Argentina, Belarus, Colombia, Mexico, and Turkey. The best films, selected by an international expert council, will be shown at the Artplay Design Center on October 5. The international BRICS+ Fashion Summit forum will be held at Moscow’s Zaryadye Concert Hall from October 3 to 5. Representatives from over 100 countries have confirmed their participation, which is up 50% on the previous year. The program will consist of a business part, the “Heritage” exhibition, and an intensive training session for new and experienced designers, businessmen, and marketers. According to Natalia Sergunina, delegations from 45 countries, including Mongolia, Congo, El Salvador, Laos, and Qatar, will attend the forum for the first time. Heads of fashion associations, leaders of major companies, and leading industry experts are invited. The entire business program is dedicated to current topics: international cooperation, support for local brands, technologies, investments, and more. The international “Heritage” exhibition will tell visitors about the influence of the cultural heritage of BRICS countries, Asian, African, and Latin American states, on modern clothing design.
More than 40 foreign participants will present their accessories and costumes. The exhibition will be accompanied by a video story about the work of artisans and the process of creating collections. Almost 560 applications were received for the intensive training session, of which, the expert council will select 100. The course will allow beginners and experienced specialists to expand their network and provide opportunities for development and skill enhancement.
