TV-3 director Valeriy Fedorovich and chief producer Evgeny Nikishov are stepping aside from the operational management of the TV channel to focus on their roles as producers and directors in the 1-2-3 Production and Mesto Sily studios. Lily Sherozia, first deputy director of TV-3, will now be at the helm of the channel.
Five years after their appointments, TV-3 director Valeriy Federovich and chief producer Evgeny Nikishov have announced that as of January 1, 2022 they will no longer be involved in the operational management of the channel. Instead, they will join the board of directors of the channel and GPM KIT and focus their efforts on the development of 1-2-3 Production and Mesto Sily studios, including producing and directing feature films and TV series. The first deputy director of TV-3 Lily Sherozia will now take up the position of channel director.
“Valery and Evgeny have proven themselves to be true professionals in their field. We welcome their desire to grow further and we are ready to give them everything they need to accomplish this within Gazprom-Media Holding. We understand that 1-2-3 Production studio’s explosive growth, its quick entrance onto the international market need to be strengthened by allowing its ideologists and founders to be constantly involved in the life of the company,” said Alexander Zharov, CEO of Gazprom-Media Holding.
Lily Sherozia will continue on the course set by her predecessors and ensure continuity in the search for new ideas, projects and talents that help to develop TV-3. Valeriy Fedorovich and Evgeny Nikishov will step aside from the operational management of the channel, but will continue to influence its content policy and decisions about original projects that are broadcast under the TV-3 brand. The channel will continue to offer programming targeted at viewers in the “14-44” age bracket and experiment with formats and genres, but also make sure to fill the programming grid with content that made viewers fall in love with it in the first place.
