Gazprom-Media Entertainment TV channels and Red Media, which is part of Gazprom-Media, received seven Bolshaya Tsifra awards. The ceremony of the 9th national awards in the field of multichannel digital television was held on January 31.

The federal television channel Match TV won in the nomination “Best sports TV channel.”

The special-interest channels Kinopremiera and Kukhnya TV, which are produced by Red Media, won in the nominations “Best film TV channel” and “Special-interest TV channel: housekeeping and cooking.” The TV channel Kinopremiera offers round-the-clock broadcasts of premieres and novelties of world cinema. Kukhnya TV offers spectators a wide choice of culinary programs for the whole family, with a special focus on healthy nutrition.

Match TV channel was recognized with awards in the category “Television programs.” In the nomination “Best entertainment program/show” the award went to the project Nefutbolnaya Strana (Non-Football Country), which aired on Match TV. The project is dedicated to the 11 Russian cities that will host the matches of the 2018 World Cup. The program hosts met with football fans to get their point of views on how ready the cities are to host the tournament and made a rating of places to help fans plan their trips.

The program, Komanda na Prokachku (Pimp My Team) on Match TV won in the nomination “Best TV program made in Russia.” The program is filmed as a travel reality show and focuses on the state of amateur football in the regions. The most successful striker in the history of Russian football, Alexander Kerzhakov, and the legendary Dinamo player Akhrik Tsveiba travel through Russian cities and share their experience with amateur footballers.

Totalnyi Razbor s Valeriem Karpinym (Total Analysis with Valery Karpin), which aired on Nash Football channel, was named “Best information-analytical program.”

The organizers of the awards also presented a special prize to Nash Football for the channel’s contribution to the popularization of Russian football. This is the only specialized channel dedicated to football in Russia.
