NTV channel’s show Ty Super! receives award from Moscow Journalists’ Union

The 27th awards ceremony for the prize of the Moscow Journalists’ Union was held on January 19. Every year this event gathers the best journalists who covered the most acute issues throughout the year, not just in Russia’s capital, but across the whole country. NTV channel was recognized with the award “For the creation of a community television project Ty Super! (You are Super!)”

The chairman of Moscow Journalists’ Union, Pavel Gusev, opened the ceremony and presented the award to the creative team behind the socially significant TV show Ty Super!. NTV’s general producer Timur Weinstein and the host of the show Vadim Takmenyov accepted the award.

Timur Weinstein, general producer at NTV:

“Our project was launched just a year ago. In this time, Ty Super! has outgrown the format of a TV project that the viewers see on air. It is a big community effort, one of the most important for NTV, the aim of which is to help talented children who are in a difficult life situation to find themselves in creative work. There is a charitable foundation that goes under the same name, which helps children across Russia. Very soon we will launch the second season of the singing competition and we hope that for the children their participation in this project will become a vivid memory of their childhood and will give them the most important thing - belief in themselves and in their talent. From our side, we will give them support in all their endeavours.”
