An additional 12 Russian cities and towns were included in GPM Radio’s broadcasting grid in recent months. As of the beginning of 2021, the GPM Radio broadcasting grid has grown by 24 regional radio stations.
Avtoradio remains the leader among all GPM Radio formats in terms of audience coverage (more than 90% of Russian regions) and expansion rate. People from five more Russian cities were able to tune in to Avtoradio in the second quarter of 2021. Overall, the radio station’s coverage grew by eight Russian cities and towns since the start of the year.
GPM Radio’s entertainment and humour stations remain popular in the regions. Humour FM and Comedy Radio expanded their networks by five cities over the past six months.
Like FM, GPM Radio’s most technologically advanced station, began its expansion into the regions last year and continues to bring new cities into its network.
Radio ENERGY also continues to expand its broadcasting network. Residents of Stavropol, one of the largest cities in the North Caucasus and the North Caucasian federal district, are now able to listen to the latest music hits and the station’s popular programs, such as Show s Chernym Pertsem (Show with Black Pepper) and NRJ HOT 30 (103.6 FM). Radio ENERGY can now also be heard in Moscow region’s Yegoryevsk (88.5 FM).
