TikTok is launching a Kinoprofil (Film Profile) function, which will allow its users to receive information about film and TV projects and give industry representatives new opportunities to talk about their projects. TNT is the first partner in this initiative.

Kinoprofil offers viewers a smooth pathway to major products for an audience of millions, bringing together people who love films and series, as well as anyone interested in watching unique video content featuring their favorite characters and sharing their thoughts and ideas with other viewers. It will allow users to receive information about their favorite entertainment projects right in the app.

The film profiles in TikTok are separate pages dedicated to films, series, and shows. Each page features a variety of information about the project: a description, details about actors with links to their accounts, and video content and relevant hashtags. As the content producer, TNT also posts short videos from film sets, interviews with actors, and other exclusive footage. TikTok users can access the information by clicking on a tag in the video description. Thanks to this function, users will be able to follow their favorite projects without leaving the mobile app, learn all the latest news, and watch specialty content.

This novel functionality will become a new tool for promoting products among the large and enthusiastic TikTok community. Audience members will be able to learn more about films, series, and shows; find out how they are made; and watch interviews with actors. Viewers will be drawn into the process through various platform tools, for example, through a hashtag challenge timed to a project’s premiere.

Kinoprofil currently has pages for popular series and films that are leading the domestic box office. This includes the TV series Otpusk (Vacation) and the folk comedy Batya, which was released in movie theaters on February 23, starring Vladimir Vdovichenkov and stand-up comedian Stas Starovoitov making his debut as an actor, as well as the film Realnye Patsany Protiv Zombi (Real Guys vs. Zombies), a continuation of the beloved absurdist comedy about two guys from Perm with an unexpected plot twist.

In addition to its TV series and films, TNT will use the new service to present its flagship TV projects. People can already use it to find out more about the cult reality show Kholostyak (The Bachelor). The new season of the show will start very soon with one of Russia’s most eligible bachelors, the rapper Timati, searching for his true love.
