An educational session called “Video hosting and digital services” was held at the Tavrida art cluster in early August. Budding screenwriters, producers and directors spent the session preparing pitches for films, TV and animated series, which they then presented to the online movie theatres MEGOGO, Okko, Kion and the GPM KIT film company.
Based on the pitching results, the project “Zerkalo Zadnego Vida” (Rearview Mirror) qualified directly into the GPM KIT pitching final, in the “New Media. Content” competition. Its author Lidiya Filippova will next compete with others to win a 500,000-ruble contract for project development as well as technical support from Canon.
