NTV will premiere Superstar! Vozvrashenie (Superstar! The Return), a remake of the popular 2000s show Ty - Superstar! (You are a Superstar!), on November 22.
Eight artists whose popularity peaked in the 1990s will fight to be the “superstar,” including Bogdan Titomir, the founding father of Russian rap; Alisa Mon, who sang the hits “Almaz” and “Podorozhnik-Trava”; 1996’s best singer Vlad Stashevsky; Yulia Volkova from the extremely popular band Tatu; Irina Shvedova, who sang the hit “Amerika - Razluchnitsa”; Vladimir Levkin, ex-singer of the legendary band Na-Na; Nikolay Trubach, who sang the 90s hit “Golubaya Luna”; and Tatyana Ivanova, the singer of the band Kombinatsiya.
Pop singer Lolita and TV presenter Vadim Takmenyov will host the show once again.
A star-studded jury including music critic Sergey Sosedov, composer and producer Viktor Drobysh and singer Maruv, will evaluate the performances and choose the next “superstar”, and celebrity guests will take turns as the fourth jury member.
