Yuri Kostin Appointed President, Vadim Tereshchuk, General Director, of GPM Radio
Gazprom-Media Holding announces the appointment of Vadim Tereshchuk to the position of General Director of GPM Radio. He will take over operational management of the sub-holding. Yuri Kostin, who has headed the holding since 2009, will become the president of GPM Radio.
For seven years, GPM Radio has maintained its leadership in FM broadcasting in the capital and has been steadily improving its performance on national airwaves. The sub-holding now faces new ambitious challenges for development in the digital environment. I am glad to welcome Vadim Tereshchuk to our team. I am sure that his deep expertise and competence will allow him to achieve outstanding business performance and respond to new challenges in the media market. We are grateful to Yuri Kostin for many years of contribution to the growth of our radio stations. In his new position, Yuri Alekseevich will focus on the strategic development of both the sub-holding and the industry as a whole.

Vadim Tereshchuk was born on June 23, 1975. He graduated from the Saratov Academy of Economics (Finance and Credit Faculty), the Volga Region Academy for Civil Service, and the Open University Business School (Great Britain). Prior to joining GPM Radio, he headed the Vyberi Radio Group of Companies, the largest regional radio holding in Russia (part of the Media 1 Group), uniting 99 radio stations in 18 cities of Russia. Vadim Tereshchuk is an academician of the Russian Academy of Radio (RAR) and a member of the ACAR expert council. He also participated in the creation of a single industrial radio player.
