A meeting was held between representatives of Gazprom-Media Holding, headed by CEO Aleksandr Zharov, and a delegation from the Saudi Tourism Authority. During the visit, they discussed cooperation in order to promote Saudi Arabia’s tourism brand in Russia. The event was held as part of an official visit by the Saudi Tourism Authority to Russia. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia plans to receive 150 million tourists annually by 2030, and sees great potential in the Russian market.

As the world’s largest investor in tourism, the Saudi Arabia has committed $800 billion to the industry, and more than $500 billion to the creation and development of new tourism facilities. During the event, representatives of Gazprom-Media talked about the Holding’s capabilities for producing TV shows adapted to Saudi culture, the company’s digital assets and advertising tools available on RUTUBE, PREMIER, and Yappy services, and presented the capabilities of the Insight People production center for increasing awareness and the attractiveness of the Saudi brand among Russians, with a special focus on it as a tourist destination. Representatives of the foreign delegation expressed their interest in long-term partnership with Russia and appreciated the prospects of cooperation highly.
