Match TV is the first in the history of Russian television to implement remote production of sports broadcasting. The channel utilized Remote Production technology, a trend of the world television, during the third round of the MIR Russian Premier League Baltica–Fakel in Kaliningrad.
The main point of the technology is that the broadcast directors, technical specialists and mobile TV stations are not present at the event site, which significantly simplifies logistics and reduces production costs.
The signal from the on-site cameras is directly transmitted via a special telecom line to the control room in TV studio, where the final picture is prepared and released for viewers.
