NTV channel emerged as one of the leaders in terms of media citations, ranking second among Russian television channels for its coverage of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (Medialogia data for the period 2-7 June 2021). NTV presenters and reporters conducted numerous exclusive interviews with the Forum’s key speakers during the event.
A 24-hour online channel dedicated to the SPIEF-2021 was operational from 2-5 June. It was streamed on the NTV.ru website, NTV and Segodnya (Today) show’s mobile apps, and NTV’s official channels on YouTube and RUTUBE. The most up-to-date information from SPIEF was streamed for 70 straight hours - this is how long NTV’s broadcast from the Forum was. Viewers could watch the most important and interesting events and sessions, comments from top experts, analyst forecasts, and journalistic reports. The online stream was available non-stop during all the Forum days. In total, more than 300,000 unique users watched the stream.
