RUTUBE and Association of Volunteer Centres became partners

The RUTUBE video platform and the Association of Volunteer Centres, Russia’s largest volunteer community, signed a memorandum of cooperation at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.

The Association has managed the volunteer corps of the largest events in Russia, including the World Festival of Youth and Students, the 2018 FIFA World Cup and the 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup, world championships in different sports, and the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.

The Association’s mission is to create conditions that help people become volunteers. The cooperation between Russia’s largest volunteer community with RUTUBE promises to further promote the volunteer movement in the country.

The international #MYVMESTE (#WEARETOGETHER) award is an extension to the country-wide assistance initiative #MYVMESTE, which was launched in March 2020. The awards were established at the request of Russian President Vladimir Putin and are dedicated to achieving the national development goals the government outlined for Russia up to 2030. Its aim is to support society initiatives that help people and improve the quality of life.

Non-profit organizations, businesses, volunteers, journalists and bloggers who are 14 years old or more can participate in the awards. #MYVMESTE has four categories: “Volunteers and NGOs”, “Business”, “Media” and the international category “We are together”. It is possible to apply for one or several categories at once.
