The French distributor of series content Ampersand Fiction (part of the Ampersand company) has acquired the rights to a line of NTV’s new action-packed series. These will be shown in Europe, Asia, North America and Africa.
The first deal between the two companies includes action-packed projects in three different genres. This is the retro-crime series Dusheguby (Murderers), which takes viewers into the late Soviet era; the comedy crime series Femida Vidit (Themis Sees), which tells the story of a young woman who is both a detective and an actress; and the drama Poteryannye (The Lost), which uncovers conflicts that exist between parents and children in the extreme context of search operations.
Ampersand Fiction bought the rights to show the series on free and pay-TV as well as online in Europe, Asia, North America and Africa. It also has the rights to show the series on aircraft as part of in-flight entertainment.
