Yulia Golubeva, CEO of Gazprom-Media Holding, welcomed the audience and participants of the large-scale festival. This year, it will be held in four Russian cities: Moscow (October 22–27), Veliky Novgorod (October 24–27), St. Petersburg (October 25–27), and Yekaterinburg (October 25–27).
“This summer, Russian films have already been seen in Beijing, Nanjing, and Shenzhen. And today, Russians can get to know China through cinema. Such cross-cultural interaction, despite the differences in cultural codes, allows us to better understand each other”.

Yulia Golubeva specifically thanked ROSKINO. For the first time last year, a large-scale presence of the Russian film industry was organized on one of the largest Asian business platforms: the SIFF Market within the framework of the Shanghai International Film Festival. Gazprom-Media Holding companies then presented the space drama Challenge, distributed by Central Partnership, projects from YARKO animation company (Tommy The Little Dragon, Team Match), and a number of other projects.
“Cooperation in the media sphere and the film industry is an integral part of Russian-Chinese diplomatic relations, which we have been supporting for 75 years. Russian President Vladimir Putin called these relations exemplary. And I am confident that we will continue to develop them, relying on traditional values of equal importance for Russia and China”.
